Lisa is currently touring in the US with her band in a production she created and produced, called THE BEAT GOES ON - CHER tribute show. On October 22, 2023, at the Grande Ole Opry in Nashville Tennessee, singer/producer/star of THE BEAT GOES ON, Lisa McClowry walked away with Tribute Artist of the Year honors from the Josie Music Awards (the world’s largest international independent artists awards ceremony) for her portrayal of Cher in this theatrical extravaganza celebrating six decades in the life and career of the Goddess of Pop.  

One of the iconic divas of the 20th century, who parlayed her music stardom into success on movie screens and TV, Cher is a living legend.  Having sold 100 million records to date, she is one of the world's best-selling music artists. Her achievements include a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, an Academy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, a Cannes Film Festival Award, the Billboard Icon Award, and awards from the Kennedy Center Honors and the Council of Fashion Designers of America. She is the only artist to date to have a number-one single on a Billboard chart in six consecutive decades, from the 1960s to the 2010s. 

Cher is, in short, incomparable. And now, she is uncannily and perfectly captured in a Broadway-style live stage show called “The Beat Goes On” by Legends in Concert artist/singer/actress Lisa McClowry. It's no surprise that Lisa was named Tribute Artist of the Year. Why? Because she has EVERY aspect of playing Cher down pat: the singing and speaking voice, the walk, the talk, the Bob Mackie-styled costumes, the makeup, the mannerisms. Nothing is overlooked.  Lisa’s show incorporates dynamic dialogue, humor, seriously fun audience participation, 8 costume changes, video projection with amazing visuals and animations.  You can expect to hear Cher’s hits spanning from the 60’s to now including:  I Got You Babe, Gypsies Tramps and Thieves, I Found Someone, The Way of Love, Dark Lady, If I Could Turn Back Time, songs from ABBA -- Cher’s Dancing Queen album, Woman’s World, Welcome to Burlesque, Believe and so much more!  Performed to a live band or tracks, the show is like having the real CHER strut her stuff on your stage.

Lisa, who in real life looks nothing at all like Cher, making her transformation all the more astounding, is a singer and entertainer with over 30 years in the entertainment industry as a trusted talent with 25 music albums, multiple lead roles in theatrical productions, movies, commercials. Her original music can be heard on the radio today.

LISA HAD THE PLEASURE OF COACHING CHICAGO SONGBIRD LIA CATON for THE PREMIERE OF HER FIERCE  FORTHCOMING COUNTRY ANTHEM MUSIC VIDEO,  "HELL OF HIGH WATER!"  While Lisa was on tour with "Legends in Concert" playing the role Cher in Myrtle Beach, SC, before taking the stage at night, Lisa was available in the day to support and coach other artists in their music and performance related goals through on-line coaching via Zoom.   

The Zoom sessions occurred between Aug 2021 thru Dec 2021.  After a series of online sessions, with the final video shoot approaching, Lisa met Lia in Chicago for an in-person coaching session. The day of the video shoot, Lisa was on-site working behind-the-scenes with Lia coaching her through each music video scenario to insure the very best performance on film.  "Hell of High Water' will be release in early 2022 and is sure to be a winner!

Lia Caton is a tenacious country artist and songwriter hailing from Naperville, IL outside of Chicago. Her kind heart and strong spirit are wildly apparent in each of her projects as she infuses her mission to heal, inspire, and advocate for causes close to home. As a child, Lia witnessed her father struggle with addiction and homelessness. Overcoming childhood adversity, this soulful songwriter moved from a suburb of Boston to the “Windy City” to pursue a career in music. Inspired by the sultry vocal tones of Bonnie Raitt and Wynonna Judd, Caton’s signature sound is raw and recognizably intimate as she narrates her own human experience through original songs. This activist released her debut single Spare Some Time in 2020, proving that connecting with and valuing people of all walks of life provides a sense of community that was missing during quarantine. Beyond her homeless and child services outreach, Lia also greatly values the work of those in the rescue pet community. She has experienced the joy a rescue pet can bring to a family firsthand with the rescue dogs and cat that are members of the Caton household. Beyond the stage, this mother and wife enjoys the beauty and growth that one can discover in nature on horse trails and ski slopes. This fall, she’ll be premiering her next release Hell or High Water, a co-write with Benji Harris (previous hits in the CMT Top 20 countdown) with production by Sean Giovanni (John Legend, Tim McGraw, Big & Rich).
